Are you a confirmed writer? Fledgling creative? Somewhere in between?

Join us for a weekend writers retreat in a quaint little village 30km north-east of Paris from March 11th to 12th.

 

Speakers: 

 Jenn Cavanaugh's poems, stories, articles, and reviews have appeared in many U.S. journals and anthologies. She blogs about resources for the creative life of the local church at  homespunresources.wordpress.com  and reflects on her travels at  awandererabroad.wordpress.com

 Tendayi O. Chirawu is a digital communications specialist with a Master's in Global Communication and Civil Society living in Paris. She is the published author of  Narinhi-Man of the Lie . She writes for several publications on current affairs including digital agency blogs, Quartz Africa and The Spire, to name a few. Some of her work can be seen here:  http://www.tendayichirawu.com/work/ .  She heads a Paris based writers group and is writing the sequel to Narinhi. She blogs about writing, books and reading on her website:  http://www.tendayichirawu.com/  and also has a book-centric YouTube channel called  Book HQ .

 Mathy is a creative mentor, career and lifestyle motivator, founder of  Whathejobisthis  blog and host her online-show  #GoodmorningMathy  on Youtube. Her passion is to help creative millennials embrace their calling. She is the author of  “ Quit or embrace your job crisis”      With, 15 yrs experience in the careers industry and a lifelong experience in the creative world. Using social media, she has built a portfolio career and business on zero budget.  Other Achievements includes:  Winner of  JCI  speaking competition and  Tedxsquaremile  – keynote Speaker at Excll Graduate’s fair- Delivers leadership training up and down the UK. She is known by other experts as being engaging and forward thinking because of her unique  ability to advance clients with modern career-techniques using branding and social media. Furthermore, her remarkable storytelling ability has been presented at national conferences. Trilingual Mathy grew up in a very multicultural household. By age 3 she was on a plane and lived almost everywhere. From Paris, Belgium, South Africa, Congo, UK, Ireland. She attended TASOK (The American School of Kinshasa.) In her early days, she was an athlete, vocalist and model. She loves technology, fashion, blogging, cultural events, her nieces and nephews but most of all cupcakes.

Tede Silva) is an independent filmmaker and has made two feature films in Brazil: "References and Memories" (Tudo Sao Referências, Tudo Sao Memorias) and "Love is multicoloured"(Matriculas Abertas, Vagas Limitadas). The first is based on the history of the city of Sao Paulo and is about values like friendship, memory and cities using music and poetry. The latter is about diversity and the struggle of minorities for dignity with a few videoclips from France.   An actor and composer, he is also the president of CAici (Institut International Culturel Castro Alves) in Paris and created the website  www.newyork-paris.org . Every year he divides his time between the two cities, participating in cultural festivals.
